带横梁的四柱系统
Gimbal Piston支腿或刚性支腿
对于大部分的光学平台选择是带有安全横梁的4柱系统。根据隔振系统或者刚性支腿、是否带脚轮、不同高度、不同负载来进行选择。普通底板或者调平底板也可供选择。

带横梁的六柱系统
Gimbal Piston支腿和刚性支腿
对于长度大于10英尺(3米)的平台使用带有连接横梁的6-Post系统支撑是好的。除了承重能力高以外，平台的结构特性也会随着额外支持点的增加而增强。
如何选型:
1、确定是否需要隔振或是刚性、无共振支腿就可以满足。
2、选择是否需要脚轮。
3、在选型表的左侧选择被支撑平台的尺寸。
4、在对应的列中选择相应的产品型号。
5、根据期望的桌面高度以及平台的厚度在高度代码的目录中选择相应的高度代码H。
6、通过计算光学平台的重量加上仪器的重量来确定合适负载的支腿。平台的重量等于平台的面积和桌面选型表下面的重量系数的乘积。
当支腿高度大于18in.时才可以使用脚轮。
