空气净化活性炭是活性炭的一种，是优质活性炭经特殊处理，用于专门净化被污染的空气，所以叫空气净化专用活性炭。只有硬度大、强度高、孔隙为微孔的活性炭才能作为空气净化活性炭。果壳炭、煤质柱状活性炭都可以做为空气净化炭原料，其中椰壳活性炭效果**。
